CLOBIREX contains Clobetasol propionate which belongs to a group of medicines called topical steroids. It helps to reduce the swelling and irritation. It is used to reduce redness and itchiness of certain skin problems.Clobetasol is a corticosteroid (steroid) which means it helps to reduce inflammation in the skin. Skin gets inflamed due to allergic reactions or irritation which causes various chemicals to be released in the skin. Due to this the blood vessels widen, and the irritated skin becomes red, swollen, itchy and painful. It works inside the skin cells to stop the release of these chemicals thus reducing the swelling, redness and itching.

CLOBIREX is a strong and effective treatment for the inflamed skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. If you have thick patches of the psoriasis on your elbows or knees, your doctor may suggest applying this medicine under an airtight dressing. Do not take this medicine, if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to this medicine or any other ingredients in this medicine.
